Notes
Notes are a convenient way to share relevant or helpful information with your team. Whether it's important details about a customer or the topic being discussed, notes help keep everyone on the same page.
To activate note mode, you can either use the toggle switch in the bottom right corner of the composer or use the shortcut “N” when the composer is inactive.
Once the note mode is activated, the message window will look like this:
Mentions
If you want to ensure someone on your team sees a conversation, you can turn the note mode on and @mention one of your teammates. This way, they'll be notified immediately and directed to the conversation.
To view all mentions, click this icon to open the slide-out navigation.
When the menu opens, you will see the @Mentions button.
To view a list of your mentions, click on the @Mentions button. Any mention with a blue dot indicates that it has not been opened yet.
When you click on a mention message from the list, you will be taken directly to the conversation where your name was mentioned.
Mentions are an effective way to communicate with the right people and share relevant information among teammates.
You might need to turn on notifications to get notified whenever you are mentioned. Here's how to do it:
- Click on the gear icon in the bottom left corner of your screen and then click Notifications.
- Check the box next to the types of notifications you want to receive.
That's it! Once you've completed these steps, you'll receive notifications for the selected actions.
