Overview
The Search feature allows team members to find certain conversations, messages, or contacts by typing in a search query. It includes customizable sorting and filtering options to help you navigate through your search results more easily.
Accessing search
- Click the magnifier icon on the navigation sidebar.
- Or use keyboard shortcut:
CTRL + F
orCMD + F
.
To find a specific message or contact, type a name, number, or keyword into the search bar, and the system will instantly display all relevant results.
You can also browse your recent search queries.
Viewing search results
When you write your search query text and trigger the search, you will get three categories of results:
- **All results - **Includes conversations, messages, and contacts.
- Contacts only
- Conversations + messages
Contact search
You can search for contacts by name or phone number. The more precise your query, the better the results. In contact results, you can view past conversations, making it easy to connect contacts with their conversation history.
Message search
Find specific messages within conversations by typing your query. Search results will list conversations and highlight messages that match your search query. Clicking a conversation in the results takes you to the exact message in the history.
Sorting results
The search function allows you to customize how your results are sorted, giving you control over how you view your content. Once you’ve entered your search query, click on the sorting options to choose how you want your results to be displayed.
Messages can be sorted by:
- Relevance
- Date (oldest or newest)
You can improve your search by sorting your results by date. Choose from the following options:
- All Time
- Today
- This Week
- This Month
It is also possible to change the number of results to show per page.
