What are push notifications?

Push notifications are a mechanism that allows you to get notified on your device when important events occur while you are away.

Supported notification types

Here’s a brief explanation of each notification type, organized into three categories: Assigned to Me, Collaboration, and Other’s Conversations.

Assigned to me

Notifications in this category alert you about conversations that are assigned to you.

  • A conversation is assigned to me - You get notified when a new conversation is assigned to you.
  • A conversation assigned to me gets a new message - You get notified about a new message in a conversation assigned to you.
  • A conversation assigned to me is closed - You get notified when a conversation assigned to you is closed.

Collaboration

This category keeps you informed about interactions with your team.

  • I’m mentioned - You’re notified when a teammate mentions you in an internal note.

Other’s conversations

These notifications keep you updated on conversations not directly assigned to you.

  • A new conversation starts - You get notified when a brand new conversation begins.
  • An abandoned conversation gets a new message - You get notified when an unassigned conversation receives a new message from a customer after three hours without a response from your team.
  • An unassigned conversation gets a new message - You get notified when a conversation that is not assigned to anyone on your team receives a new message.
