# Overview

Sequences allow you to automate customer engagement by sending a structured series of WhatsApp template messages with scheduled intervals. This helps streamline follow-ups, reminders, and also reactivate dormant leads.

## Elements of a sequence

* **WhatsApp Templates** – Pre-approved message templates sent at different stages.
* **Delays** – Scheduled time gaps between messages.
* **Entry points** – How contacts are enrolled (manually or via API).
* **Exit rules** – Conditions that stop a sequence for a contact (e.g., reply, block, API call).
